Current research
Yuanming's research interest is centred on the understanding of users’ social media engagement and its application in improving companies’ digital marketing strategies. His current research is particularly focused on the utility of social media engagement data in forecasting consumer visits and the outcome of social media boycotts.
Publications
Biography
Yuanming recently completed his PhD in Marketing at the University of Edinburgh Business School. He also holds an MSc in Marketing from Leeds University Business School. Before starting his academic career, he worked in the real estate industry as a market analyst for a year. He is actively engaged in research collaborations with the Tourism and Fintech industries, benefitting from the support of the ESRC IAA Accelerating Business Collaborations Fund for several of these research projects.
