International Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate degree in management, humanities, arts and social sciences) | 433 for HKDSE Form 6, excluding liberal studies and Chinese |
Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science and geophysics) | 544 for HKDSE Form 6, without extended maths module |

To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:
HKDSE: 554/5*55 depending on subjects |
International Baccalaureate (IB): Between 28 and 38 points |
Associate degrees will be considered for first or second year entry to the University's bachelors degree programmes |
Masters programmes | Bachelors degree with a minimum GPA of 2.8 out of 4.0 UK 1st equivalent: 3.5 UK 2.1 equivalent: 2.8 |
PhD programmes | Good grades in bachelors and masters degrees awarded by a recognised university, and a strong research proposal UK 1st equivalent: 3.5 UK 2.1 equivalent: 2.8 |
You will need to be able to demonstrate the required level of English language proficiency. We accept HKDSE Grade 4 as equivalent to IELTS 6.5. Find out more about our English language requirements and support .
