International Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate degree in management, humanities, arts and social sciences) |
Mathayom 6 (M6) 75 Units - Overall GPA of 2.75 - 3.0/4 with GPA 3.0 in relevant subjects or 65% overall with 70% in relevant subjects. Mathayom 5: Overall GPA of 3.0 with 3.25 in relevant subjects, or 70% overall with 75% in relevant subjects. |
Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science and geophysics) |
Mathayom 6 (M6) school leaving certificate with overall GPA of 3.0 or above, and a minimum of 3.0 grade point in Mathematics and relevant Science-stream subjects. Mathayom 5: Overall GPA 3.25 with 3.25 in Mathematics and relevant science-stream subjects. |
Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses) |

To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:
Average ABB to AAA in UK A levels |
Between 32 and 36 points in the International Baccalaureate (IB) |
Masters programmes |
Bachelors degree awarded by a recognised institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0 UK 1st degree equivalent: GPA 3.3 - 3.5 depending on awarding institution |
PhD programmes |
Good grades in bachelors and masters degrees awarded by a recognised university, and a strong research proposal |

Studying at the University of Southampton really helps me gain professional experience which I face at work such as being confident to present and negotiate with customers or vendors from several nationalities because I’ve been involved in many group works with friends from different nationalities in the University.
