Foundation year entry requirements

International Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate degree in management, humanities, arts and social sciences)

Apolytirion (Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate) achieving a minimum overall grade of 17

Devlet Lise Diplomasi (High School Diploma) achieving a minimum overall grade of 8.5

Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics and geophysics)

Apolytirion (Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate), achieving a minimum overall grade 18.5 with 18 in maths or physics

Devlet Lise Diplomasi (High School Diploma), achieving a minimum overall grade of 8.5 with 8.5 in maths, and 8.5 in chemistry or physics

Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses)

Apolytirion (Upper Secondary School Leaving Certificate), achieving a minimum overall grade of 18.5 with 18 in two science subjects

Devlet Lise Diplomasi (High School Diploma), achieving a minimum overall grade of 8.5 with 8.5/10 in two science subjects

Please note that this course does not progress to an undergraduate degree in medicine.

Undergraduate entry requirements

To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:

UK A levels with grades from BBB to A*AA
International Baccalaureate (IB) with grades from 30 to 38
Apolytirion of Lykeion
18-19 overall, plus 18-19 in required subjects or 18-19 overall plus one or two A levels grades A*A to BB in required subjects, depending on the programme, or 18-19 overall plus the successful completion of a recognised foundation programme.
Lise Bitirme Diplomasi or Turk Maarif Kolejc certificate with minimum grades 8.5 - 9.0 plus either two UK A Levels (minimum grades A or B) or successful completion of a recognised foundation programme

Postgraduate entry requirements

Masters programmes Bachelor's degree (Ptychion / Lisans Diplomasi) with a minimum overall grade of 7.0 out of 10 or 3.0 out of 4
PhD programmes Good grades in both bachelors and masters degrees from a recognised university (Metaptychiakon Diploma or Yuksek Lisans Diplomasi), and a strong research proposal.

English language entry requirements
