International Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate degree in management, humanities, arts and social sciences) | School final grade of 8 out of 10 overall |
Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics and geophysics) | School final grade of 8 out of 10 overall plus State exams: 1 subject grade 80% and 2 other subjects grade 70%. |
Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses) |
School final grade of 8 out of 10 overall with 8 out of 10 in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course

To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:
UK A levels with grades from BBB to A*AA |
International Baccalaureate (IB) with grades from 30 to 38 |
Atestāts par vispārējo vidējo izglītību with overall grade 8 - 9 in school exams plus 65% overall in state exam. Some undergraduate courses may request grades A - B or 70 - 85% in state exams for relevant subjects |
Masters programmes | Magistra awarded before 2001 or Bakalaura started from 2003 onwards with a minimum overall grade of 7 or B |
PhD programmes | Good grades in bachelors and masters degrees awarded by a recognised university, and a strong research proposal |
