International Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate degree in management, humanities, arts and social sciences) | Ecuadorian Senior Secondary School (Bachillerato), with an overall grade of 7.5/10 |
Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics and geophysics) | Ecuadorian Senior Secondary School (Bachillerato), with an overall grade of 7.5/10 with 8 in maths |
Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses) | Ecuadorian Senior Secondary School (Bachillerato), with an overall grade of 7.5/10 with 8 in maths or a science subject Please note that this course does not progress to an undergraduate degree in medicine. |
To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:
High grades in UK A levels |
International Baccalaureate (IB) between 28 and 38 points |

Masters programmes | Ecuadorian Licenciatura, Maestria or Doctorado from a recognised University or an equivalent professional qualification approved by the University with an average grade of 8.0/10 |
PhD programmes | Good grades in bachelors and masters degrees awarded by a recognised university, and a strong research proposal |

We are pleased to welcome students from Ecuador to the University each year. In 2016/17 we have 5 Ecuadorian students studying with us.
Getting involved in clubs and societies is a great way to meet other students from your country and from around the world. There are many societies run by the University's Students' Union (SUSU) for different interests, religions, sports and academic groups.
