I am a PhD student at the London School of Economics and I am undertaking a piece of research funded by the Economic and Social Research Council looking at the demographic perspectives of particular social groups in the UK. I am particularly interested in how ecological context influences attitudes towards childbearing in young people who have not yet had any children. As part of this research I am running an online questionnaire for students at the University of Southampton. I am interested in the views of undergraduates and graduates and from any country of origin.
The questionnaire covers three main areas: health services, having children and mortality. It should take 10 minutes to complete and all responses will be kept anonymous and confidential. Please note that some of the questions on mortality are of a potentially sensitive nature, and may cause distress to some potential participants. To take part, please click on the link below before 28th February 2009.
