Wednesday 25th March marks day three of Learning and Teaching Week and the day of the Keynote from Professor Mike Neary ‘ Learning Landscapes: Building a contemporary University’.
The sessions taking place on 25th March include:
Chemistry’s experiences of placements (Jeremy Hinks) and A look at the Virtual Chemistry experience – how Chemistry have used Secondlife to broaden their educational horizons. There will also be a talk from Gary Fisher (SOES) entitled ‘Discover Oceanography’. Legal Services and Student Support will be discussing adjustments made for disabled and dyslexic students and Maria Evandrou will be sharing with the wider university, the results of their blended learning project in Gerontology. Lunch and refreshments are provided during the day.
The Careers Service are holding a local session about writing references for students which you might find useful. This will be in building 4.
