Artist: Master of Music recital: Maxine Hall, piano

For our final Master of Music lunchtime recital‚ Maxine Hall will be performing Lecuona’s “Andalucía”‚ D. Scarlatti’s Sonatas K87 and K27 in B minor and Liszt’s “Réminiscences de Norma de Bellini” on the Turner Sims Steinway piano.  Please come along and support our Masters student.

Various soloists and ensembles will be performing in preparation for the performance exams later this month.  Today will feature a flautist, a brass quartet, a string quartet, a pianist and a saxophone quartet.  Please come along and support them as they near the end of the academic year.

Onyx Brass is one of the leading brass chamber groups in the country.  After the criticial and commercial success of their latest album release, entitled “Fugue”, this programme promises to include Bach and Shostakovich fugues as well as a slice of contemporary music which the group have been championing for over fifteen years.
