The School of Mathematics is sad to announce the death of Emeritus Professor P.T. Landsberg‚ peacefully‚ at home in his sleep‚ on the morning of Sunday February 14 2010.
The School sends its deep sympathy to Peter’s widow Sylvia‚ and to their children Max‚ Ken and Olivia‚ at this sad time.
Peter was Professor of applied mathematics in the Department of Mathematics 1972-87, and Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics 1980-82.
