An interim Director of Human Resources has been appointed while the recruitment process for a new permanent Director is carried out.
The Human Resources department faces an exceptionally heavy workload over the next few months and this interim appointment will ensure that none of the current momentum is lost.
Andrew Snowden has worked at a senior level in HR in both Higher Education and in the Health Service. He has a distinguished record of achievement in both sectors.
His appointment takes place with immediate effect and he will report to Simon Higman, Registrar and Chief Operating Officer. Initially he will work a four day week to enable him to fulfil existing contracts with the Department of Health.
