The 2010–2011 academic and research annual promotion process has commenced. Academic and research staff should receive a letter or memo from their faculty office outlining the promotion process and giving details of the timetable in the near future.
In the meantime individuals can access the process criteria, timetable‚ and all the relevant forms on the HR website at: http://www.soton.ac.uk/hr/managing/promotion/promotion.html. The information will be updated for the promotion process 2010–2011 in the next few days.
The deadline for individuals to submit their promotion application to their Dean is 5 November 2010 for applications up to and including Level 6 and 21 January 2010 for Level 7 applications.
