The University’s Registrar and Chief Operating Officer‚ Simon Higman‚ has been appointed Registrar and Director of Operations at Royal Holloway‚ University of London. Simon will take up his new post on 1 January 2011.
Vice–Chancellor‚ Professor Don Nutbeam‚ says: “Simon has provided outstanding leadership in the roles he has performed at the University over the past three years. He leaves us with our very best wishes to take on an equally demanding role at Royal Holloway.
“At this time of change in the higher education sector, I will be taking the opportunity to consult with senior staff and members of Council as to the future configuration of the role of Registrar and Chief Operating Officer, before we begin the recruitment process for Simon’s replacement.”
