Equality Impact Assessments (EIAs) are a way of analysing whether or not we are affecting equality groups (gender‚ gender reassignment‚ race‚ disability‚ sexual orientation‚ age‚ religion or belief) disproportionately in the way we carry out our business or implement new initiatives or policies.
If you would like to find out more about what an EIA is and how to undertake one‚ you can come to a briefing session on either the 29 November or the 9 December 2010, 12-2 in the HR building. The briefing will be given by Kamaljit Kerridge-Poonia, Diversity Manager, and June Jackson, EIA Consultant.
