The deadline for Faculties and Professional Services to apply to host an undergraduate intern in summer 2011 is fast approaching.
Now in its second year‚ Excel Southampton provides structured internship opportunities to our students‚ enabling them to hone key employability skills whilst contributing to the needs of their host department.

Up to 35 placement opportunities are available and they will run for a three month period (12 weeks) from Monday 4 July to Friday 23 September 2011. The Student Centeredness Budget and Alumni donations will provide 50 per cent of the student’s overall costs, with the host service or academic department supplying the remaining 50 per cent. Career Destinations will help facilitate the advertisement and recruitment process and be available during the programme to provide support and mentoring to the interns.
