Information for International Students

The University of Southampton recognises that some of our students may be significantly impacted by their home countries becoming areas of political unrest and conflict.

If you have been affected by any issue or event in your home country, or if you are concerned about your own circumstances and need practical advice regarding travel home, your student visa or your sponsors status⁄stipend payments please contact the Student Services Centre to make an appointment with one of the advisors.  The team can advise you on your visa and how you may be able to access emergency funding, and provide details of relevant embassies or national information centres to assist with getting in touch with friends or family.

You can either come directly into the SSC on Highfield campus, call us on 023 8059 9599 or email us at [email protected]. The team will be able to give you more information about support available to you.
If you wish to apply for emergency funding support, you can make an appointment with SUAIC in the first instance, by calling 023 8059 2085 or visiting the team in Building 40.
