The new HR e–Recruitment system went live on Wednesday 4 May and can be accessed via www.jobs.soton.ac.uk.
Please note the old system – HMS (provided by First Advantage) – will no longer be available from Thursday 30 June 2011.
Staff are advised that the shortlisting of applications must be carried out by 30 June and the paperwork for shortlisted candidates only must be printed off (e.g. applicants you would like to invite for interview) as applications will not be transferred to the new system. Once you have shortlisted and printed off the paperwork for each candidate please then contact HR to arrange how to deal with progressing the post.
If you will require access to the new system please email ServiceLine stating in what capacity you will be using the new system e.g. raising job requisitions, Chair, Panel Member etc.
You do not need to have training in order to use the system – there are User Guides uploaded on the system in User Guidance (OSRF) and Additional Information (Vacancy Management).
If you feel you require training, the dates for the June seminars are published on the Coaching & Training Services Web Pages (iSolutions) and you can book onto a course by clicking on the relevant date.
