Virtual Experiments (VEs) are highly interactive web applications which complement labs‚ allowing students to learn key practical skills in their own time‚ freeing up lab space and saving costs.
Staff and students are invited to attend an event on 8 August‚ during which Paolo Memoli‚ Virtual Resources Development Officer‚ will explain how VEs are used‚ what benefits they bring and how they are developed. For more information and guidance for future VEs, please see the Guidance Notes found at: http://ve.soton.ac.uk/virtual_experiment_guidance_notes_internal.pdf
The day will be an informal drop in session, where you are encouraged to speak to the developers and put forward new ideas for virtual experiments to suit your own lab requirements.
Funding is available for early adopters only.
