Following the national advertisement for the post‚ Sarah Pook has been appointed as the University’s new Director of Finance.
Sarah will join the University on 26 September from Hampshire County Council‚ where she is currently Deputy County Treasurer. Prior to that she was Assistant County Treasurer‚ having been promoted through a number of other roles at the County. Sarah is a longstanding member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy and will be leading the Finance Department at a time of considerable change in higher education finances.
