Reminder: Stonewall Workplace Equality Index 2012 – staff survey

Responses to this survey must be received by 9 September.

Last year‚ the University volunteered for the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index‚ which assesses the friendliness of the organisation for our gay‚ lesbian and bisexual colleagues. As part of the assessment process‚ Stonewall conducts a Staff Survey‚ to be completed by LGB staff‚ and last year we had an above-average participation level for the HE sector.

The survey for this year’s Index is already open‚ and we hope to have even more people take part. If you are LGB then please follow the link below, and if you know any LGB colleague, then please encourage them to take part. There is one page of questions, followed by some optional monitoring questions, which take less than five minutes to complete. You can also access this link from home, should you want to complete it in private.

The responses are collected by Stonewall themselves, so the University will not see individual responses. However, any trends identified in the responses will be reported back to us by Stonewall, so that we can improve on them in the future.
