Following changes to the PASNAS scheme as a result of the July 2009 scheme valuation‚ contribution rates for active members of the scheme will increase to 6.2% (from 6%) of salary on 1st August 2011. The contribution rate will increase further to 6.35% of salary from 1st August 2012. Contributions are paid automatically either through your salary or through the salary sacrifice scheme, and PASNAS members should see a small change to their August 2011 salary.
