Multidisciplinary Research Week is a programme of activities aimed at showcasing different aspects of multidisciplinary work at the University of Southampton.
Our aim is to integrate perspectives from the arts‚ humanities and social sciences with methods drawn from mathematics‚ engineering or the physical sciences to forecast‚ anticipate or predict the likely behaviour of complex systems (which may be social, natural or engineering systems) and develop appropriate mitigation or intervention strategies.
