The seminar will be relevant to a wide variety of staff and students. Taking place in building 32‚ room 2097. Tea and coffee provided.
This talk will look at what extended schools and services aimed to do and the evidence about what they have achieved to date. It will also consider how we should conceptualise these schools. Are they the ‘new’ inclusive schools, achieving social justice for young people and parents? Or, do they enshrine within them the medical model dressed up as social inclusion?
