A final reminder that the Southampton Blackout will take place on the Highfield campus this Friday evening. More than 250 student and staff volunteers will be auditing the campus and turning off equipment that has been left on before the weekend.
We think this is the biggest event of its kind in the sector and we’ll be reporting back on some of the results next week, and then in full a few weeks later.

If, at the end of the day on Friday, you’re confident that all of the equipment in your office has been turned off, you can display this poster on your door. We will audit a sample of offices with the poster displayed.
