The University of Southampton has climbed three places from tenth to seventh in the Times Higher Education’s Student Experience Survey 2012.
This result is based on the responses of 14,000 current students from over 100 UK universities. 252 students participated from Southampton and they rated the University’s performance in 21 categories. Our highest scores were for the following:
– I would recommend my university to a friend
– Good environment on campus/around university
– Good extracurricular activities/societies
While there may be some comments about the relatively small size of the sample, our improved position in this annual ranking is a positive story for the University to promote externally.
