Attitudes towards social care survey

Colleagues in Social and Human Sciences are conducting a study for the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR). Please see their note below and contact Dr Priya Khambhaita if you would like to take part.

The aim of our research is to explore in-depth the reasons for satisfaction or dissatisfaction with social care services. We have a particular interest in the influence of cultural, religious and language issues on satisfaction with social care. As part of our research, we would like to carry out interviews with people from the ‘Asian or Asian British’ ethnic group, that is Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Other Asian groups. From these groups we are interested in interviewing people in Hampshire, Southampton and Portsmouth who have used adult social services, or look after someone who has used adult social services.

If you identify yourself to be a service user or carer and are interested in helping with our research, or would like further information, then please contact Dr. Priya Khambhaita via email or telephone.
