The new Research Facilities & Equipment Database now has the capability to link selected publications from the EPrints repository to your research facility database entry. Creating a more data rich entry offers many benefits, from improved marketing, to the promotion of recent research outputs. The guidance on Creating shelves provides step by step instructions including screenshots explaining the process to set up your EPrints shelf. To get the Shelf ID go to “Manage Shelves” and you should see the Shelf ID number as the first column by your new shelf.
To add recent publications to your facility or major equipment simply set up an EPrints shelf and email the number and facility name and/or number e.g. F1234 or E1234 to [email protected]. We will then add the number to your facilities database entry and your selected publications will appear on the next update.
