Systematic reviews in health training day – places still available – Tuesday 23rd October 2012

Staff and students are invited to participate in a training day offered by Southampton Health Technology Assessments Centre (SHTAC) at the University of Southampton.  The training day will provide an overview of all aspects of systematic reviewing in health and is designed for health professionals, academics and decision makers with an understanding of health and related research.

Outline of the day:

* What is a systematic review?

* Scoping the research question

* Literature searching

* Inclusion/exclusion screening

* Data extraction & critical appraisal

* Data synthesis

Time: 9.30am – 4.15pm

Fee: £150 (public/ academic sector), £250 (commercial sector).
