Southampton Welcome is an exciting new project that is bringing staff together from across the University to improve the induction experience we provide to our new students. Tessa Harrison, The University’s Registrar and the Executive Sponsor for the Project says: “The vision for the Southampton Welcome project is to create and outstanding introduction programme for all new starters – an experience that is powerful, comprehensive and genuinely welcoming.”

Staff can stay up to date with the progress of the project through the following:
- Monthly status reports to the project team and key stakeholders
- Fortnightly email briefings to impacted groups in faculties and the impacted professional services
- At Education and Student Experience Advisory Group meetings (ESEAG)
- At Assessment and Taught Admin network meetings
- In the Voice, e-Voice and SUSSED for more general updates for the wider staff community
