The Staff Party this Friday (2-4pm, Highfield Campus) is a celebration of the contributions that our people have made to the University’s success over the last 60 years. Read on for the final event details and check the attached Q&A if you have further questions.
Ways you can get involved this Friday
Dress up or dress down, the choice is yours. Dress up: If you and your colleagues would like to dress up in 1950s inspired clothing or your favourite summer garden party outfit, then you are very welcome to do so. Dress down: Colleagues who usually dress formally for work, can choose the option to ‘dress down’ in more casual clothes for the day of the party, your work activities allowing.
Best dressed competition. If you are wearing a 1950s themed outfit or your best summer garden party attire you can come along to the large marquee at 15:10 to participate in the best-dressed competition which will be judged by the Vice-Chancellor.
Visit the photo booth! Have your photo taken with your colleagues and create a great memory of the party. The photo booth will be situated in the Arlott Bar.
Attend one of the Staff Lectures between 9:30am and 12:15
The lectures provide a chance for staff to find out more about some of our 60 successes from the colleagues involved in the research. Attend one or stay for all three. The line-up is:
