The University’s sustainability team are currently running a competition on Twitter calling on staff and students to submit suggestions for ‘nudges’ that will encourage us all to make more sustainable choices while on campus.
Nudges are subtle changes or prompts. Well known examples include putting healthier foods in people’s eye lines in shops, or making pension schemes ‘opt-out’ rather than ‘opt-in’.
They want nudges that will encourage us all to switch-off, recycle, think about how we get to campus and consider what we buy.
See https://twitter.com/Sustainable_UoS for more information and follow the #Greenat60 hashtag.
If you’re not on Twitter but would like to enter, you can email [email protected] before 24 August.
