Brand new Lifelong Learning courses and events for 2012/13!

Lifelong Learning are proud to announce our expanded programme for the coming academic year, featuring lots of exciting and innovative events for the whole community.

Along with our popular range of Modern Languages, Archaeology and Film classes, we are now offering an expanded selection of other Humanities part-time evening courses, including:

Shakespeare and Renaissance Drama, Creative Writing Skills, Who did they think they were? Society in the Fifteenth Century, Policing the World: American Foreign Relations from World War II to the War on Terror, 1945-2012, Sex, Crime and Rock ‘n’ Roll? British Youth and Society, 1945-1970, Eastenders: Jewish Life In London’s East End, 1870-1945, Classical Hebrew, plus three courses from the Confucius Institute on Chinese Culture, Business and Conversational Chinese.

We also have 12 new study days from departments across the University, including:

Court and Port: Life in Tudor London and Southampton, Change and Continuity: The impact of the Holocaust, Marine and Maritime Heritage, Our Planet (at the National Oceanographic Centre) and Sex, Art, and Crime: From Brigitte Bardot to Sarah Lund.
