The University will implement the cost of living award for eligible employees with effect from 1 August 2012 when it is agreed with the Trade Unions. The current situation is that the Unions have rejected the Universities and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA) latest offer of 1 per cent and there is currently no timescale indicating when agreement might be reached.
Please rest assured that any award will be backdated and will be paid with the earliest possible pay run once agreement has been reached. Confirmation of any agreement will be published on SUSSED and details provided on the payment date.
