Update: The Mountbatten building is now open.
This morning, the emergency services were on Highfield campus to investigate what caused an alarm to sound in one of the laboratories in the Mountbatten building. Please be assured there was no fire, but necessary precautions needed to be taken to investigate the cause before the building could re-open.
