In recognition of the increasing importance of intersecting domains of corporate social responsibility, entrepreneurship and innovation in organizations of all kinds, particularly in times of economic turbulence and slowdown, the 2012 International Conference in Socially Responsible and Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Innovation will bring together state-of-the art research in the fields of corporate social responsibility, entrepreneurship, innovation, and SMEs.
The conference aims to offer access to research undertaken by those who seek to generate insights to processes of entrepreneurship and innovation in public, private and third sector organizations, and SMEs in particular. The focus is on socially responsible and sustainable development of entrepreneurial organizations and their growth through social innovation. The conference will offer an opportunity to find answers to critical management questions and challenges that are faced in building and sustaining such organizations. The conference will have a strong blend of academic, policy maker and practitioner delegates from across the world. It includes streams on a diverse range of topics pertaining to intersecting domains of corporate social responsibility, entrepreneurship, innovation and SMEs, as well as a PhD colloquium where PhD students will have the opportunity to showcase their work and discuss with an academic mentor challenging perspectives regarding its development. The Conference will also feature a ‘Meet the Editors’ session, facilitated by Professor Jeremy Howells (R & D Management) and Professor Mustafa Ozbilgin (British Journal of Management).
