Congratulations to Ole Thybo Thomsen, Professor of Structures and Materials at the University, who has been knighted by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark.
He is now Knight of the Order of Dannebrog, which is broadly equivalent to the British KBE. The order is given for service to the Danish state, society and the Royal House.
