Study Day presented by The Parkes Institute for the Study of Jewish/non-Jewish relations.
On Sunday 18th November The Parkes Institute for the Study of Jewish/non-Jewish relations, presents a one day study event investigating the impact the Holocaust has had on Jewish culture, during and since the Second World War.
Join us for a day packed with insightful talks presented by academics of international distinction from across the Humanities disciplines. Questions will be raised about how the Holocaust changed and impacted on Jewish literature, language and linguistics, film, and more.
Listen to speakers, join in on question and answer sessions throughout the day and chat over coffee with like-minded individuals about the day’s findings.
Discover how the Holocaust sent the course of Jewish life and culture spiralling in different directions to change history, literature and peoples’ lives forever.
The Study Day takes place on the 18th November, 10am – 4pm and is held at the Avenue Campus. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and a buffet lunch is also included.
