University Executive Group discusses student recruitment strategy for 2013, 2014 and beyond

In October, a Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions taskforce was established to positively impact the 2013 student intake. This group has already initiated and delivered a series of activities to increase marketing to potential applicants, to build better relationships with the top schools and colleges across the UK, to create more opportunities for prospective students to visit the campus in person or online and to improve the conversion of offers to accepted places.

This week, UEG, Associate Deans and Professional Services involved in student recruitment looked at the progress of the task force and discussed how to ensure that University-wide and faculty-specific activities are mutually supportive and that staff across the organisation work together to meet our recruitment targets in 2013.

They agreed that regular updates would be made available to all colleagues involved in student recruitment.
