This week veteran writer and broadcaster Peter Snow delivered the University’s annual Wellington Lecture.
Over the years, the University has welcomed a host of distinguished speakers to deliver the Wellington Lecture, which was established in 1989 following an endowment from the Spanish Ambassador. Each year the lectures give an insight into the life and times of the first Duke of Wellington.
Peter Snow delivered his lecture – ‘To War with Wellington – from the Peninsula to Waterloo’ – at a packed Turner Sims Concert Hall on campus on Wednesday evening.
