Ex-Communard singer (famed for her 1980’s song ‘Don’t Leave Me This Way’), Sarah Jane Morris returns to her hometown – Southampton, this Saturday to perform at Turner Sims as part of her new album launch tour. She joins forces here with composer and cellist Enrico Melozzi to perform tracks from her new album Cello Songs, which has received rave reviews and includes re-workings of such pop classics as Tracy Chapman’s ‘Fast Car’ and Damien Rice’s ‘Blowers Daughter’.
