Theano is delighted to invite all students or staff of the University of Southampton to take part in our photography competition.
The theme of this year International Women’s Week photography competition is ‘Women’s roles throughout history’.
This can be interpreted as the photographers see fit, but judges will be looking for original images that celebrate the achievements of women throughout time and demonstrate the continuous relationship between the women’s role and its surrounding community.
The shortlisted photos will be exhibited for one week from 4 March at the SUSU concourse at the University.
A gallery of the winning pictures, along with the shortlisted ones, will be published on the Theano website as well as the Theano Facebook page.
Our mission is to give all students and staff photographers at the University the opportunity to showcase their amazing potential on our University stage, as well as globally, through presenting their work through Theano.
There is an incredible amount of talent out there, both amateur and professional, and we would like to capture it, see it, and show it to the world.
