We are looking for healthy females (without acute/chronic illness, and not taking prescribed medications) aged 46-54 to be part of a matching control group in a multiple sclerosis (MS) study. All participants will be reimbursed with £40.
The study is carried out over four consecutive days, while undergoing usual daily activities (at home or at work) and involves sampling saliva at certain time points and answering questions about daily hassles, mood, and fatigue prompted by a handheld device. Each prompt takes no longer than two minutes.
There is a one hour preliminary session beforehand at the Shackleton Building (44), a 15 minute debrief session, and then a short (two-three minute) follow-up questionnaire posted to you after six months.
If you are interested, or know of anyone who would be interested, please contact Daniel Powell (PhD student) by email at [email protected].
A full information sheet will be sent out, containing all the details, so that you can make an informed decision before deciding whether or not to take part.
