Scottish and Southern Electric (SSE), who will shortly be undertaking work to upgrade the local grid for the benefit of the University, have recently advised us of a new starting date for the related roadworks.
As the programme of works will require road lane closures on Burgess Road and roadworks on University Road, some of you may wish to consider your route to work and the time you allow for journeys to and from campus.
Whilst the work is for the benefit of the University, we are not undertaking it ourselves and are not in a position to alter the schedule.
The works were scheduled to begin on Monday 18 February, but will now not begin before 4 March.
