Participants required for study – ‘Thinking about Thinking’

We are looking for a student or staff member from the University to participate in a study for a DClinPsy project. The study is about emotional responses and involves two phases. Phase one of the study involves completing a very short questionnaire, which you can find at www.isurvey.soton.ac.uk and searching for ‘Thinking about Thinking’.

What will happen if I take part?

Phase one: the screening stage. You will be asked to complete a questionnaire. This brief questionnaire contains items relating to emotional responses. It should take less than five minutes to complete.

Phase two: After completing this questionnaire, you may be selected to take part in Phase two of the project. This will involve completing some questionnaires about ‘Thinking about Thinking’ and taking part in a problem-solving computer task.

What about Phase two of the study?

After completing the questionnaire you may be eligible to participate in Phase two of the study. We will get in touch with you if you are eligible and interested in taking part.

What happens if I change my mind?

You may withdraw from the online study without penalty at any time by closing the webpage.
