Where’s Don? The Vice-Chancellor’s diary from 18 February

Here is your snap-shot of the Vice-Chancellor’s diary over the next few weeks.

Indian delegationWeek beginning 18 February

For the majority of this week Don is overseas. He is currently accompanying the Prime Minster and a business delegation to India, visiting Delhi and Mumbai. Returning to the office on Thursday, he will attend the Academic Promotion Advisory Group and then go on to London to the UK member’s board meeting and dinner.

On Friday, he flies to Geneva to attend the World Health organisation (WHO) conference in preparation for their conference that is being held in Helsinki later on in the year.

Week beginning 25 February

Don continues his visit to the WHO.

On Tuesday, he is visiting Winchester School of Art to meet the Rector and designer Kat Maconie. 

Wednesday brings the ground breaking ceremony at the City Gateway hosted by the building contractors followed by the University Senate meeting in the afternoon.

On Thursday and Friday, Don is visiting two schools in London to listen to the views of the Head Teachers and pupils with regard to higher education.
