We’ve proven it – the more you move, the better you can concentrate and perform, whether that’s studying, paper writing or the activities you love to do outside of your student/working life.
The GoFIT Challenge takes the science that is part of our own Human Performance Design Laboratory and offers Southampton students and staff the opportunity to use it to improve their fitness AND their abilities to work, study or perform in exams.

The GoFIT Challenge lasts 12 weeks and is intended for teams of five-eight people. Each week you will be set a target for the number of minutes you need to move. These ‘movement minutes’ could involve any activity that gets you out of your seat – be it walking, cycling or playing frisbee in the park. You simply record your minutes on the website or using our GoFIT app.
