Red Nose Day is this Friday 15 March and across the University a whole host of different, interesting events are taking place all in the name of Comic Relief.
Below are just a few of the different events taking place that you can be part of :
Runny Noses
What’s going on? Who can run/fast walk on a treadmill for the longest wearing a red nose?! To take part you will need your staff card and red nose to show the Jubilee Centre Reception staff (if you don’t have gym membership).Pay £1 to take part and get three attempts for your best time! Prizes available for first, second and third place! NB – In the interest of hygiene, please bring your own Red Nose.
When: Friday 15 March
Time: Lunch time from 12
Where: Jubilee Sports Centre Gym, Highfield
Red all Over
What’s going on? Pay £1 each to dress down and/or wear red for 15 March (please check with your individual managers/directors if you are not part of Student Services).
A prize will be available for the team that wears the most red – tweet photos of your team to @unisouthampton including #redallover and your team name before 3pm and the ‘reddest’ team will win a prize!
Hair today, gone tomorrow
Whats going on? Watch and sponsor some of our colleagues shave off their beards for money.
When: Friday 15 March

Top Tips Seminars + the Device Doctors
What’s Going on? isolutions are running a couple of seminars on 15 March to provide pointers to as many bite-sized hints and tips as they can fit into an hour all in fancy dress! Feel free to share this with any colleagues who may be interested.
