More participants needed – £10 to help climate change research

Are you are between 21 & 75, a native English speaker and have used central heating (with radiators) for five or more years?

If so, you could help our research by taking part in a study funded by EPSRC. We are investigating the different ways people use central heating in the home, to inform strategies to help people ‘optimize’ their energy consumption.

Each session lasts approximately one hour, and will take place during office hours, over the next two weeks, in B22 on the University Campus.

The study involves you taking part in a 20 minute computer simulation, followed by a short questionnaire, then a 20 minute interview (including a paper-based activity). We will not be asking you about your personal energy consumption, only collecting data on how you respond to the simulation.

At the end of the session you will be paid £10 in cash, to compensate you for your time.

If you are interested in finding out more please email, Kirsten Revell [email protected] , stating the approximate number of years you have been operating central heating (i.e. having full or shared control of heating in the home).
