Following the success of the last year’s Blackout, which saved more than £1600 and seven tonnes of carbon, this year’s event is set to be bigger and more ambitious. This Friday evening, 26 April, staff and student volunteers will take the University campus by storm, touring offices and communal areas to switch off lights and computers which are not in use.
