Gift of Sight is a charity managed by the University. The Gift of Sight Appeal was established with the aim of funding world-class research into the prevention and treatment of blindness.
The Gift of Sight Eye Research Centre is based at Southampton General Hospital. Our main areas of research are age related macular degeneration, glaucoma, inherited retinal diseases such as retinitis pigmentosa and childhood conditions such as nystagmus.
We are having a plant and cake sale to raise funds for Gift of Sight – find out more about the charity here. Please come and support our event and enjoy an afternoon cup of tea with a slice of delicious cake, purchase a plant and try your luck by entering our raffle.
